Hi, I'm Brenda Montero, owner and CEO of Tranquility Cove Counseling. I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor, and I am here to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to ensure you are able to work on healing throughout your journey. The passion I have to help others allowed me to begin my therapeutic journey more than 18 years ago. Throughout the years, I have worked with children, teens, families, the elderly, and adults struggling with various mental health challenges with various diversities in multiple settings.
My specialties include PTSD, C-PTSD, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, teen mental health, dissociative disorders, family relationships, life events, grief/bereavement, military/veteran support, multicultural issues, sex/intimacy/romantic relationships, and LGBTQIA issues.
The value and respect I have for each of my clients set me apart from other providers. I am genuine, honest, and direct. I have a great sense of humor with a splash of sarcasm. I enjoy spending time with family, playing with my fur-baby, reading, dancing, and anything beach or snow related. Above all, I love being a mom to the most vivacious mini-me.
